In the early 1970's, I was employed as a secretary at the GE Plant in Hudson Falls. I had come from a small employer previously and was lost and bewildered at the size and scope of the organization that was then GE in Hudson Falls. Even though I did not know your Mom at that time, she made a point to seek me out and welcome me, knowing that we were neighbors in Fort Edward. Having that one friendly face that I could go to meant so much to me and made the transition much easier. Although I never saw Rose again after I left a few years later, her kindness was never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.... Mary Ellen Fisher
