Bruce Edward Ball, 69, passed away after a short illness on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at his home with his loving wife by his side.

Born on December 27, 1947 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Frederick Ball and the late, Faith (Bailie) Ball-Schutze.

Bruce served in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.

On December 22, 1978, Bruce married Julie Nolan at the United Methodist Church of Queensbury.

Bruce was a self-employed long distance truck driver for 15 years. He was an avid fisherman who loved being home with his family, friends and his beloved dog, T.

Besides being survived by his wife of 39 years and his father include; his brothers, Ronald Ball and Scott Ball; his son, Steven Ball; and several nephews.

Friends may call from 4 to 6pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bruce’s name can be made to Fisher House Foundation, Inc., 113 Holland Ave., Albany, NY 12208 or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
