Obituary for Anthony K. "Tony" Brown

Anthony K. Brown, 64, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at his home with his beloved wife by his side.
Born in Glens Falls on December 2nd, 1952, he was the son of the late Oliver Brown and Anna (Root-Healey) and stepfather Jack Healey.
Tony was a 1970 South High graduate. In 1972 he started working at Finch Pruyn Paper where in 1997 received a plaque for 25 years of service, retired in 2005. In his retirement years he loved gathering with his family especially his grandchildren, during family get togethers.
He enjoyed reading, crosswords and baking. He also enjoyed spending time with his siblings. He had a heart of gold and a wonderful sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed by all.

In addition to his parents, Tony is predeceased by his brothers, Oliver “Ollie” Brown, Kevin Brown, and Jeffrey “Jeff” Brown; his nephew, John Curtis Brown and his great nephew, Noah Gould.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife Arlene (Nelson) Brown; his children Andrea Arcamone and her husband, Jeff, Tyra Brown, Tonya Nissinoff and her husband, Brian, Tommy Churchill and wife, Allene, Danny Churchill, Gregory Stewart and wife, Julie, and Andrea Stewart and significant other, Don Howard; grandchildren, Zac, Dylan, Isaiah, Abigail, Riley, Kailey, Mark, Joey, Jaden, Aryanna and Dakota; and his sisters, Gail Morehouse and her husband, Jeff, and Bonnie Fish; his brother, Richard (Dick) Brown and his wife, Gail; his sister-in-law’s, Leann Brown and Rose Brown; his step-brother, Richard Healey; as well as many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted following calling hours at 3pm with Rev Deborah Waldren, pastor, of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Bolton Landing.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
