Sandra (Doyle) McMurry, 77, of School St. passed away peacefully on Sunday September 4, 2016 at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born in Hudson Falls, NY on September 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late, Raymond and Mildred (Etu) Doyle.
Sandra attended Hudson Falls Schools, graduating in the class of 1956.
She faithfully attended Wilton Baptist Church for many years.
Sandra held many jobs throughout her life, such as Cooks, Clarks and Walmart, but her favorite was the Joy Store in South Glens Falls, where she made many long lasting friendships.
She enjoyed doing all kinds of arts and crafts. She loved scrapbooking, knitting, completing puzzles and painting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is predeceased by her late husband, William McMurry; as well as her infant daughter, Katy.
Left to cherish her memory are her four sons, William McMurry and his wife, Karra, Andrew McMurry and his wife, Melissa, Peter McMurry and Joey McMurry; her brother, Craig Doyle; Five grandchildren; Four great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday September 9, 2016 from 5-7 pm at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway Fort Edward, NY 12828.
A memorial service will be celebrated following calling hours at 7 pm with the Rev. Steve Harness, pastor, officiating of the Wilton Baptist Church.
