Dear Pat and family, I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Sorry I can't be there, you all are in my prayers. I have such fond memories of my childhood, because Pat and Jack treated me like I was their own. I too remember him practicing his bagpipes, that is still the best part of a parade. My sincere condolences to the Donahue Family.Jack was a man well respected by all who knew him. As a kid growing up on Center St, I still recall the many,many evenings we would listen to Jack practicing his bagpipes. Jack will be missed by all. RIP. Tim

To the entire Donahue family, we are so sorry for your loss. Growing up as a member of the Adirondack Pipes and Drums Jack was always very happy and helped make the band feel welcoming to myself and others. I always enjoyed catching up with him when I returned to practices from college and when I would see him at a band event with my father after I moved out of state. We were very touched to have Jack join us for my father's memorial service last April. We were glad to see him again and I was honored that he asked me to read the kind remarks he wrote for my father, who admired Jack and valued their friendship greatly. Jack's kindness and friendship will be remembered always.
