Fernand Arthur Delisle Jr., 66, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on Jan. 10, 1953, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Fernand Delisle Sr. and Jeanne (Valle) Delisle.
Fernand graduated from Argyle High School. For 40 years he owned and operated Delisle Breeding Service in Argyle. On Nov. 19, 2000, Fernand married Linda Hamilton. Together they raised belgian and quarter horses, beef and australian shepherds. He enjoyed watching old western movies his animals, especially spending time his family.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 18 years, Linda; his children, Fern Delisle III (Rasheeda), Jeanette Liebenow (Benjamin), Jenny Mabb (Joseph Jr.), April Delisle, Wendy Vadnais (Kenny), Sherry Huntington (Jamie) and Kelly Crandall (Harry); his grandchildren, Henry, Laura, Cassie, Fern IIII, Desiree, Taylor D., McKayla, Brittany, Layla, Jayden, Kylie, Derek, Ben, Diego, Jake, Isabella, Reagan, Taylor V., Tyler, Tristann, Samantha, Kayla and Hallie; his great-grandchildren, Laila and Sawyer; and a sister, nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Fernand’s request there will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 4pm on Saturday, Nov., 9, 2019, at the Argyle American Legion, 7 County Rte 47, Argyle, NY 12809, as Fernand would have wanted please dress casual.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations in Fernand’s name can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 123 Main Street, Argyle, NY 12809.
