Obituary for Claire M. Mockler (Forster)

Claire M. Mockler, 85 formerly of Bayside Queens, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Washington Center in Argyle.
Born on November 20, 1933 in Hollis, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Catherine (Haverty) Forster.
Claire worked at various restaurants her entire life retiring at the age of 78. She enjoyed her horse and, Budweiser but especially she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, Claire was also predeceased by her husband, James P. Mockler on May 6, 1971 and her son-in-law, Joseph L Sceppa who passed on June 23, 2018.
Left to cherish her memory include her daughters; Diane Erck (Steve) of Argyle and Margaret Sceppa of Massapequa Park; her grandchildren, Theresa Fazio (Michael), Joseph Sceppa (Kristina) and Robert Erck; and her two great-grandchildren, Dominick and Vincenzo Fazio.
At Claire’s request there will be no calling hours.
Committal services will be conducted at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY 11735-1211
