Lucilea Marie (Cleavland) Lewis, 99, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Glens Falls Hospital with her loving son and daughter-in-law by her side.

Born on March 7, 1919, in North River, NY, she was the daughter of the late Emery Zapher and Julia (French) Cleavland.

She worked for Nitech and Cudney Laundry in Saratoga.

On October 8, 1938, Lucilea married Ernest F. Lewis in Kingsbury. They spent 55 years together until his passing in May of 1994.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lucilea was predeceased by her son, Ernest Leon Lewis (1970); her brothers, Roydon, Ralph, Sargenet, Giesler; her sisters, Ella and Addie.

Left to cherish her memory include her son, Michael Lewis and his wife, Loriann; her grandchildren, Amanda Lewis (Claudio), Michael Lewis II (Jess), Fredrick Lewis (Dene); her great-grandchildren, Stephen, Madison, Marley, Rodney, Blake and Isabela; her sisters-in-law, Elsie Etu and Gertrude Cionek; and several nieces, nephews and cousins; a very special niece, Priscilla for caring for her the past four months and special friends, Vevia and Lorraine.
