Delwyn D. Corliss, 78, passed away Wednesday November 7, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born October 29, 1940 in Fayston, VT he was the son of the late Jesse and Ollie (Brown) Corliss.
He graduated from Bristol High School in Vermont. After graduation, Delwyn joined the United States Army in 1958 serving his country for three years.
In 1984 Delwyn met the love of his life Beverly Stevens.
Delwyn was a truck driver for 60 years and retired from Logistics One after 10 years of employment.
He enjoyed NASCAR, camping, traveling in his motorhome and was an avid sports fan. Delwyn was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan and was thrilled about the 2018 World Series victory.
In addition to his parents, Delwyn was predeceased by his sister, Kolona and his son, Robert.
Left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Cathy Bowley (Adam) of Vermont, Joanna LaVallee (Roger) of Florida, Monica Dike (Brian) of Vermont; his son, Ronald Corliss (Angelia) of Vermont; his brother, Elwin (Judy) of Vermont, Edward (Kit) of Vermont; sister, Debres (Bill) of Vermont.
He is also survived by his companion and soul mate of 34 years, Beverly Stevens and her children, Robert (Rose) Stevens, Sherry Stevens (Tim Hughes), Donna Worth (Ron), Brenda Sullivan (Brian), Judy Vance (Rick), Laurie Collins (Paul), Larry Stevens (Jessie); along with many sister and brother-in-law’s, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his special girl Lexi the boxer.
Friends and family may call from 4-6pm on Monday November 12, 2018 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 136 Main St. South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
A funeral service will be held following the calling hours at 6pm.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
