Obituary for Travis William Miller

Print
SOUTH GLENS FALLS

Travis W. Miller, 34, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Glens Falls Hospital.

Born January 6, 1984 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of John and Betty (Dalaba) Miller.

Travis graduated from South Glens Falls High School and attended North Country Community College. He played soccer all through high school and college.

Travis was employed by the Target Distribution Center in Wilton, NY.

Travis loved football and even in their off years, was Cowboys fan. He was an enthusiastic fitness buff and worked out regularly. He was fun-loving and enjoyed “being awesome”. Travis had an amazing sense of humor. He was outgoing and known for being the life of the party. Anyone who knew him would describe him as strong-minded, but also adventurous. Travis was also a great storyteller, especially when it came to his younger siblings, whom he often told were adopted or came from under a rock. However, he was loyal, protective, and the most amazing big brother they could ask for. Travis loved spending time with his favorite nephew Vincent, and will always be remembered for his devotion to his family and friends.

Travis was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Glen Dalaba Sr.; his paternal grandfather, Robert Miller, his maternal grandmother, Rosemary Miller; a close family friend, Kevin Kleine; and beloved pit bull, Chloe.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, John and Betty Miller, his sister Lindsey Mann and her husband Brian, brothers, Nicholas Miller and his wife Christine, and Robert Miller, nephew Vincent Montesi, niece Lauryn Youngblood, grandmother Phyllis Dalaba, his fianceé Julia Burton;and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his favorite mastiff Maze.

Friends and family may call from 4-6pm on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home located at 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations in Travis’s name can be made to the SPCA of Upstate NY, 588 Queensbury Ave., Queensbury, NY 12804.
