Adeline “Addie” E. Leone, 93, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on June 1, 1925, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Guglielmi) Carella.

Addie was a lifelong communicant of St. Michael’s Church in South Glens Falls and was a member of the choir. For over 35 years, she worked as a custodian at South High School District until her retirement. In her earlier years she sang at the Glens Falls Operetta.

She enjoyed crocheting, writing poetry, swimming and riding her bike. Addie was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and she never missed a game.

In addition to her parents, Addie was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Leone; her siblings, Carmella, Frank and John Carella.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Kenneth Edgerly and his wife, Sue of Port St. Lucie, FL, Michael Leone and his significant other, Ruthy of Clifton Park, Cindy Day and her husband, Donald of Idaho; her grandchildren, Dawn Chabot and her husband, Mo, Nichole Major and her husband, Ron, Matthew StCyr, Jordana Hinkson and her husband, Zach; and four great-grandchildren; her sister, Rose Carella; her brother, Frank Carella and his wife, Carol; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 9:30-10:30am on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

A Funeral Service will be conducted following the calling hour with the Rev. Guy Anthony Childs, pastor of St. Michael’s Church, officiating.

Burial follow the Funeral Service at 12pm at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
