Robert “Bob” Joesph Lyon, 58, of Lake Worth Florida passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 surrounded by family after a brave battle with cancer.

Bob was born in Lowville, NY, June 4, 1960 to parents Alfred Earl Lyon and Leona Mae Pate Lyon. He graduated from Argyle Central School. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved any chance to fish or hunt, and truly loved spending time in the Adirondacks.

Bob was very talented in many areas and a stickler for quality in anything that he touched. This was evident in everything that he set forth to accomplish, but nothing more so than his other love, his ‘67 Chevelle SS.

He is survived by his loving wife Donna; two children Elizabeth (Gary) Furnish of Canton, GA and Robert Lyon II of West Palm Beach, FL; Grandson Jace Furnish; two brothers Alfred (Carol) Lyon II of Cambridge, Jim (Michelle) Lyon of Tasmania; three sisters Diana Perfetti of Lathem, Linda (Terry) Kirk of Ft. Edward, Peg Harrington (Phil Woodward) of Greenwich; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bob is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Leona Lyon and two half-sisters Rosalie McGrath and Gloria Moore.

Friends may call from 4-6 on Friday, September 21, 2018 at M.B. Kilmer’s Funeral Home, 123 Main Street, Argyle NY, 12809.

A Funeral Mass will be said at 10am, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Church of St. Mary/St. Paul in Hudson Falls, NY.

Followed by a burial at Prospect Hill in Argyle, NY.
