Constance “Connie” Buckley, 95, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at the Glens Falls Center Nursing Home.
Born on October 13, 1922, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Laura (Conklin) Carey.
On July 25, 1943, Connie married Neil M. Buckley Sr. They were married for 61 years until his passing in December of 2004.
In 1965, Connie and Neil opened Buckley Tire Service in Glens Falls and worked together until their retirement.
Left to cherish her memory include her children, Colleen Ferrar and her husband, Robert of Spring Hill, FL, and Nancy Trackey and her husband, Timothy of South Glens Falls, Neil Buckley Jr. and his wife, Mary of Glens Falls; her grandchildren, Robert, Jason, Garrison, Connie Ann, Nicole and Sarah; her sister, Nancy Gersten; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At Connie’s request there will be no calling hours.
Rite of Committal will be conducted at 10am on Monday, September 17, 2018, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Glens Falls, with Sister Donna Irvine S.S.N.D., officiating.
