June Smith, 75, formally of Fort Edward passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her family.
Born November 22, 1942 in Hudson Falls she was the daughter of the late Henry and Isabelle (Montana) McCabe.
She attended Fort Edward High School.
June worked for Glens Falls Hospital for 24 years and retired in July of 2017.
She was devoted to her cats and an avid Boston Red Sox fan. June also enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, June was predeceased by her son, Thomas Smith; brother, Allen McCabe; love of her life, Franklin Smith; sister-in-law, Melvina Harrington.
Left to cherish her memory include her sons, Frank Smith and Daniel Smith Sr (Ann); her grandchildren, Robin Smith, Ashley Smith and Daniel Jr. (Hope); sister-in-law, Donna McCabe and her daughter Tamera; along with 3 great grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family may call from 4p.m. to 7p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.
A funeral service will be held following the calling hours at 7p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations in June’s memory can be made to a charity of ones choice.
