Obituary for Kathleen Ellen Andrews (Hoag)

Kathleen E. Andrews, 79 of Hastings Road, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018 at her home after a long illness.
Born on July 5, 1939 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Miza Hoag.
In her younger years. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Hudson Falls. She worked at Robinsons Laundry then for Mallinkrodt in Argyle. On Dec. 29, 1956 she married George Andrews in the Fort Edward and following the wedding the couple celebrated by square dancing in Durkeetown.
She enjoyed all her gatherings with her family, her car rides, deer hunting, snowmobiling, cooking, and dancing at Durkeetown Dance Hall. After Mallinkrodt moved to Mexico she retired to spend time with her husband George driving the country side in Vermont going to lunches and spending the days together.
Kathleen was a very devoted wife, Mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her brother, Marvin Hoag; her sisters, Miza Barnes and Florence Perry; Nephews, Marvin Hoag Jr., and Walter Barnes; niece, Kathleen Evans.
Left to cherish her memory besides her husband of 61 years include her children, Donald Andrews, George Andrews Jr. and his wife Bonnie, Cindy Hayward and her husband John, and Daniel Andrews; grandchildren, Marcus (Lauren), Nicole, Alaster (Joella), Rheanne (Elvis); step grandchildren, Nicole (Fred) and Teena; great grandchildren, Riley, Kloee, Kaylie, Corrin; sister, Mary Evans (Walter);step brother, Robert Hoag; step sister, Alexandria; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be follow at 2pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
