Barbara Hart, 77, passed away May 14, 2018 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 8, 1940 in Rutland, Vermont she was the daughter of the late Howard and Phyllis (Forguites) Burney.
She worked for General Electric in Fort Edward.
In 1985 Barbara married Robert Hart in Fort Ann
Barbara enjoyed gardening, crocheting, snowmobiles, camping, being outdoors, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Robert Hart; her daughter, Linda Gagliardi; her son, Michael Degnan; her brother, Clayton Burney.
Left to cherish her memory include her sister, Joan Ayer; her sons, Tim Degnan, Stephen Degnan Sr. and his wife Tammy, and Jay Degnan and his wife Sandy; her grandchildren, Silkaya, Sarahann, Carolyn, Jacquelan, Lexie, Stephen Jr., Dusty and Mikey; great grandchildren, Brayden, Lily, Liam, Edward and Scarlett; nephews, Wayne, John and Todd; her loving friends, Herald and Yvette McClure.
At Barbara’s request there will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
Memorial donations in Barbara’s memory can be made to the American Heart Association, Northeast Region, 4 Atrium Dr. Suite 100, Albany, NY 12205.
