Elizabeth M. (Tyo) Revier, 97, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Granville Center, surrounded by her family while holding the hand of her loving daughter.
Born August 2, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Pauline (LaRoux) Tyo of Massena, NY and Brittany, France, respectively.
Liz grew up in Massena and graduated from Massena High School. She loved gardening, especially flowers. She enjoyed traveling and had visited Sicily and Austria, as well as many other parts of the U.S. She and her husband enjoyed seeing many parts of the US and Canada in their RV and even called themselves the “Roaming Reviers”. Liz lived a long, full life and was especially proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Liz is predeceased by her husband, Clyde Revier, her daughter, Barbara Blake, her granddaughter, Kristi LaRouch, her step-son, James Revier, her sisters, Veronica Sedlock (Steve), and June VanZelf (Nick), her brother, Lawrence Tyo Jr. (Margaret), her former husband, Fred LaRouch, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Carol McNeil (Edward) of Argyle, her step-daughter Paula LaBelle (Paul) of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, her son Fred LaRouch Jr. of Illinois, her son-in-law Bill Blake Jr. of Gansevoort, her brother-in-law Everett Revier Jr., of Massena, as well as fifteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
At Liz’a request there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
