Condolence: To Tom and Bob's Family,
Bob was a wonderful human being and I will miss him so much. He was so brave and courageous even as he struggled with a difficult medical situation. He was often more interested in how I was doing than thinking about himself. He was kind and thoughtful. He tried so hard all the time (and succeeded) in doing just what he was supposed to do medically. He took so many pills. I hope he is more comfortable now and at peace. There were many who loved him and will miss him. Bye Bob, we will miss you so.

Nurses are not supposed to have favorites, although through the years we found out we were family through marriage. The one person is my life that always asked "How are you?" and truly cared more about you then himself. Our nickname for him was "Smiling Bob." He will be missed by all of us at the VA. Condolence: Bob was one of my first friends when I moved to SGG in 1970. I had a rough time and he always would talk with me. Although I have not seen him since we graduate 40 years ago, I still cherish his kindness to me so many years ago. I kind of wondered why he was on my mind earlier this week. Now I know. May he Rest In Peace knowing the Peace and Love of God forever.
