Barbara Joan Bickford, 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her family.
Born on February 26, 1936 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late, Ledwith and Beatrice (Mecier) Sawn.
On September 23, 1956 Barb married Lawrence Bickford at the St. Mary’s Church in Hudson Falls.
Barb worked for 25 years at Decora in Fort Edward as a secretary until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, camping, traveling to the Amish Country in Pennsylvania and taking rides through the country. Barb especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barb is predeceased by her grandson, Robbie Conley.
Left to cherish her memory include her husband of 61 years, Larry; her daughter, Kathy Conley and her husband, George, Karen Flores and her husband, Mike, Julie Terrio and her husband, Todd; her grandchildren, Nicole Conley, Krissy Flores, Téylyr Thadeio and her husband, Matthew, Hannah Terrio and Ethan Terrio; her great-grandchildren, Chloey Jansson, Alannah Flores and Brexton Thadeio; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at St. Joseph Church in Fort Edward.
The rite of committal will follow in St. Paul's cemetery in Hudson Falls.
