Fort Edward
Sylvia (Joiner) Regner, 68, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on February 10, 1949 in Fort Edward, she was the daughter of the late, Raymond and Olive (Hatch) Joiner.
Sylvia worked for 41 years as a house keeper at Fort Hudson Nursing Home. She also worked for Collins Nursing Home for 3 years.
On February 16, 1974 Sylvia married, Bartholomew Regner at St. Joseph’s Church in Fort Edward.
She loved to go bowling and golfing with her husband. Sylvia liked to go shopping and had to make her lottery ticket purchase during her shopping trips. Most of all she loved the time that she was able to spend with her family and her granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, Sylvia is predeceased by her siblings, Patricia Sherwood, Louise VanGuilder, Marlene Williams, Steven Joiner, Helen Borden, Sam Joiner and Clinton Joiner.
Left to cherish her memory include her husband of 43 years; her daughter, Melissa Patterson and her husband, Jamie; her granddaughter, Emily Patterson; her sister, Marie Farren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Sylvia’s request there will be no calling hours.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
