Norma M. Saunders, 87, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home.
Born on Dec. 30, 1929 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Louis “Pappy” and Margaret “Nanny” (Harrington) Genier.
She worked for C.R. Bard Medical for many years until her retirement in 1989. Norma was also a foster grandparent for Head Start.
Norma enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casino, dancing to music and going to garage sales. She loved working the farmer's market with her daughters Debbie and Judy and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Norma was predeceased by her sister, Mildred Adams; her brothers, Butch, Mickey, Raymond, Walter Genier, and Sonny Knowlton.
Left to cherish Norma’s memory include her children, Judy (Bill) Liddle, Jo Ann (Steven) Ray, Rodney Saunders (Shannon), Ronnie (Tamara) Saunders, Debbie (Glenn) Stevens, Ricky Saunders, Rusty (Nancy) Saunders; her brothers, Ronnie and Gerry Genier; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the funeral service at the Glens Falls Cemetery, 38 Ogden St., Glens Falls.
