Medrick J. Smith, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on July 15, 1971 in Glens Falls he was the son of Theodore and Rosemary (Baker) Smith.
He was a graduate of Hartford Central School.
Medrick married the love of his life and his best friend, Beth Chapin on May 22, 1993 at the Hartford Baptist Church.
He worked for Real Bark Mulch in Fort Edward driving truck for the last year.
Medrick was a wonderful father, husband, son, brother and good friend, who loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR, doing pig roasts and spending quiet nights by the bonfire. He will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his wife of 24 years, he is survived by his sons, Dakota and Austin Smith; his siblings, Melissa Williams and her husband, Stephen, Theodore Smith and his wife, Norma, Edward Smith and his fiancé, Melissa, and Jessica Smith and her fiancé, Jason; his five boxers; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Hartford Baptist Church, Main Street, Hartford with the Rev. David Asel, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow services at Morningside Cemetery in Hartford, NY.
