Memories with Uncle Bob

It is likely that anyone who knew Uncle Bob has at least one story they could tell about him. He was special & unique :)

One memory I have is of us watching a ballgame on the day Hank Aaron broke Babe Ruth's homerun record. Uncle Bob told me to pay close attention as Hank ran the bases. I asked why & he replied, "because it's history in the making." Today I still have a clear picture in my mind of the television screen and the excitement of the crowd. Last year I mentioned that long ago day to Uncle Bob & what I remembered. He laughed and said " I wish I remembered that day!"

I sure will miss so many things with Uncle Bob: --- Finding something to take when we visited because he always asked, "What did you bring me?" ; getting and sending funny emails ; sending each other the same Christmas card for many years ; discussing books we'd both read ; laughing like crazy : making geese jokes ; and Uncle Bob just being Uncle Bob.

Thanks for all the great times. Love & miss you
