Patricia B. (Patti) Higgins, 70, passed away at home on Monday, July 17, 2017 with her husband and sister by her side.
Born on December 22, 1946 in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Sadie Cohen.
Patti married the love her life Charles Higgins on December 17, 1970 in Manchester, CT. She was a devoted mother to her son Jeffery and loved spending time with him.
She worked at Boston Scientific Namic until her retirement after 20 years of service.
Patti enjoyed knitting and sewing. She loved babysitting her favorite triplets, Daniella, Regina and Alexander who knew her as “Grammy”.
Left to cherish her memory include her husband of 48 years, Charles; her son, Jeffrey Higgins and his partner, Donna Muchel of Orlando, FL; her sister, Sherille VanDykes of CT; her brother, Ernest Bollacker of CT; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, especially out of state.
At Patti’s request there will be no calling hours.
A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110 or to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center c/o Glens Falls Hospital Foundation, 126 South St., Glens Falls, NY 12801.
