BettyAnn Reese, 92, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Indian River Nursing Center.
Born December 27, 1924 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Anna (Lennox) Brown.
She was a graduate of Glens Falls High School in 1943.
BettyAnn loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, BettyAnn is predeceased by her first husband, Andrew Capone; and her second husband, George Reese; her sisters, Melvina Woodruff-Spires and Alice Riding; her brother, Floyd P. Brown; and her grandson, Michael Capone.
Left to cherish his memory are her memory is her two sons, Michael Capone, Stephen Capone and his wife, Valerie; her step daughter, Laurena Reese; her grandchildren, Adria, Andrew, Toni, Gina, Makayla, Mya and Michael; her great grandchildren, Mariah, Jacob, Zoe, Madison, Gavin, Dante, Kian, Mikailyn and Emmalyne; her brother, Nelson H. Brown and his wife, Mary; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
At BettyAnn’s request there will be no calling hours.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations can be made in BettyAnn’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
