Condolence: I am very sad to discover that Carolyn has died. We worked together, with Crys McCuin, back in Glens Falls, NY, at Ridge House, part of the Warren-Washington ARC. Carolyn was great to work with and was even more fun to hang out with. Having left Glens Falls over 35 years ago, we lost track of each other, but I always remembered Carolyn. She was genuine, intelligent, and I'm certain will be missed by all who knew her. God speed...

Condolence: “How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong because someday in life you will have been all of these.” George Washington Carver Carolyn was a caring and compassionate person and helped thousands of people in her long career. Professionally she mentored new staff in the Agency as she was open and willing to share her knowledge and expertise to grow talent in our industry. She had a desire to help her clients find a new direction in their careers, and invested time and effort with all of them. She also had a real comradely with her coworkers. At the office we remember her great recipes and food she shared with all of us. Joking with here we could put our “order” in for our favorite cookie of cheesecake for a holiday or birthday celebration. Happily it would show up in the office on that day for all to enjoy eating! Past that, we laughed and cried about the events of the day- personal or professional, and her open office door and listening ear will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Carolyn, Natalie Williams

Condolence: The obituary underestimated the number of people Carolyn helped during her career with Washington County, It's not in the hundreds, it's in the THOUSANDS. I know because I worked with Carolyn for 25 years in the employment and training field. I can count on one hand the number of people I know who lived their life with "True Grit" and unending compassion. She's one of them. The only other thing I'm wondering is if you need to have a driver's license to drive a car in heaven. Least said the better.

Condolence: I worked with Carolyn almost 40 years ago and what I remember is laughing. The time spent with her and our coworkers was such fun and somewhere there are photographs (I'm sure)to chronicle those days as she always had her camera. I've thought of her often and see now that she carried on with her generosity of spirit to create a rich and fulfilled life. Rest my friend and know peace.
