Betty B. Rooke, 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 14, 1933 in Glens Falls to the late Ernest E. and Beatrice D. (Albert) Bartholomew.
Betty married Christopher J. Rooke Jr., on August 20, 1955 at the First Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls. They were married 37 years until his passing in 1993.
She retired from Marshall Berlino Associates after many years of service. Betty relocated to South Glens Falls in 2013.
Betty was a devoted member of the Christ Community Reformed Church in Clifton park since 1965. She was the Institutional Memory of the church as well as a pillar of the church choir.
Besides her parents and husband, Betty is predeceased by her brother, Norman E. Bartholomew, who passed away in 1969.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristin M. Rooke, Diane H. Piccirillo and her husband, Michael, and Leslie A. Rooke; her granddaughters, Olivia M. Rooke, and Emma R. Piccirillo; her sisters, Anne B. Kirsch of North Port, FL, Joy E. Collins of Ashland, VA, and Dina M. Bartholomew of Glenville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Johan G. Bosman, Pastor of the Christ Community Reformed Church, officiating.
Burial will follow immediately at Pine View Cemetery, 21 Quaker Road, Queensbury, NY 12804.
