Obituary for David Ronald Trombley

Glens Falls

David R. Trombley, 70, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born August 18, 1946 in Glens Falls he was the son of Loretta (Morse) and the late Maurice Trombley.

He graduated from Glens Falls High School class of 1965.

On November 19, 1966 David married the love of his life Sharon Carpenter.

David retired from Finch Pruyn after 32 years of service then went to work for Saint Alphonsus Cemetery and Lowes.

He was a lifetime communicant of St. Alphonsus Church and a present member of Saint Mary/St. Paul.

David also was a member and Past President of the Eagles Aerie 2486.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, playing santa, golfing and being with all of his family.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 49 years, Sharon Trombley of Glens Falls; his mother, Loretta Trombley of Glens Falls; son, Michael Trombley and his spouse Denise Serviss of Argyle; his daughter Wendy Caldwell and her spouse Scott Caldwell of Glens Falls; grandchildren, Rebecca Spraragen and her husband Justin Spraragen of Glens Falls, Victoria Trombley and her husband Aaron Cordiale of Glens Falls, Gabrielle Caldwell of Glens Falls, Daniel Caldwell of Glens Falls and Bowie Jenne of Glens Falls; great granddaughters, Charisma Faye of Glens Falls and Zelda Spraragen of Glens Falls; sisters, Pamela Huffer and her husband Butch Huffer of Queensbury and Diane Carpenter of Glens Falls; special friends, Erica and Jerry Jenne, Ray, Elaine and Jack Conley, Chris, Jen and Elias Green and Tessa Mattison.

Friends may call from 4-5p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 136 Main St. South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

A funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 6p.m. at St. Mary/ St. Paul Church 11 Wall St. Hudson Falls, NY 12839.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donation in David’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
