Fort Edward

James J. Iuliucci “Jinx”, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at The Pines with his family by his side.

Born in Fort Edward on February 10, 1928, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary (Aurelia) Iuliucci.

James married Marjorie King on May 1, 1953, at St. Joseph’s Church in Fort Edward. They spent 52 wonderful years together before her passing in 2005.

He worked for General Electric in Hudson Falls for over 42 years as a machinist.

James enjoyed backyard barbecues, visiting Saratoga Race Track, was an avid Yankees fan, and wood working and home remodeling, which he remodeled every room on his own at his family home in Fort Edward. He was a member of the Country Music Association and Horseshoe League. James biggest loves were spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, James is predeceased by his siblings, Thomas Iuliucci, Anthony Iuliucci, Samuel (Rocky) Iuliucci, John (Charlie) Iuliucci, and Rose Iuliucci Norton, brother in-law, Emery (Bud) King and sister in-law, Terry Conklin, and father and mother in-law, Emery and Adelaide King.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, James Iuliucci and wife Judy of South Glens Falls, John Iuliucci and wife Dale of Fort Edward, Joseph Iuliucci and wife Linda of Kentucky, and Jeff Iuliucci of Hudson Falls, grandchildren, Stephanie Iuliucci, Jodie Smith and husband Peter, Andrew Iuliucci and wife Ashleigh, John Iuliucci and wife Heidi, Matthew Iuliucci, Michael Iuliucci and fiancee Chelsea, Colleen Iuliucci, Jeffrey Iuliucci, and Zachary Iuliucci, great grandchildren, Jacob, Chloe, Spencer, Colton, Matty, Matilda, Amelia, and baby girl Iuliucci due in June, siblings, Angelo Iuliucci, Susan Murphy and husband Jerry, sisters in-law, Elenor Strode and husband Larry and Mary King, brothers in-law, Michael King, Robert Conklin and Thomas King, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 1pm- 2pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway Fort Edward, NY 12828.

A funeral service will be conducted following calling hours at 2pm at the funeral home.

Rite of Committal will follow the service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fort Edward.
